Farm Country

 On the day before we had baby Jasmine we decided to make it a fun and memorable day with the four of us and Blue Grandma.  We saw cows, horses, ducks, geese, goats, chickens, and so much more.  The boys were able to feed the animals too.  Kameron was too scared to let them eat from his hand so he would throw the seeds at the poor animals.  Kenner got a kick out of it though. 

With our ticket to get in came with a ticket to ride ponies.  I didn't think the boys were going to do it.  Especially Kameron, but they both proved us wrong.  They loved it.  Grandma then treated us to ride in the carriage.  The boys thought that was pretty cool too.

There was a room that I think if we allowed it, the boys would have stayed in there for hours.  They mostly played with the conveyor belt that brings "food" to the truck to take to the city. 

I will try to get the video about it later.  The computer doesn't want to bring it up.

After Farm Country, we finished the night off with Applebees.  It was my last meal I could have before having the baby, so why not eat out?  Unfortunately I didn't have much of an appetite.  I think it was nerves.  We headed to Red Grandma's and Grandpa's where Brian and Red Grandpa gave me blessing.  We then headed home, got the boys in bed, finished getting bags ready, and tried to get some rest before having to get up early to head to the hospital.  Our lives were about to change once again.

Fall Day at Temple Square

Since we had Stake Conference on this Sunday, the last Sunday as a family of four, we decided to go up to Temple Square and take pictures. We had so much fun. Kenner and Kameron couldn't get enough of the water. They loved watching it and of course putting their hands in it. I love my little family so much. Brian is a great dad and I love these boys more than anything. Not only was it so much fun to be with the family and take nice or silly pictures, but it was so peaceful to be there surrounded by all the gorgeous flowers and of course the temple. I am ever so grateful that I get to be with my family for eternity. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Kenner In Disguise

One morning I asked Kenner to go get dressed.  Sometimes he comes out with green pants and an orange shirt or something completely mismatching, but I let it go since he does it himself and he refuses anyway to change since that's what he picked.  This out did all those crazy outfits.  Yes, that is underwear on his head.  I don't know where he gets it from.

Where Did Kameron Go?

Every night before I go to bed I go in and check on the boys one last time.  I went into Kenner's room and he was sound asleep.  I then went into Kameron's room and I paused for a moment.  I looked at his bed twice to see that he was not in it.  I was very confused.  I knew he was in his room because I could hear him breathing, but I really didn't know where he was.  I looked under the bed, behind the door, and then, there he was, sound asleep.  We never heard him move or make a sound, but clearly that night he did not want to be in his bed.  Instead, he made his own bed with blankets and stuffed animals on the floor behind and under the rocking chair.  How he fell asleep like that I will never know because, honestly, it does not look comfortable.  I went and grabbed Brian to show him.  We got a good laugh out of it and then moved him back to his bed. 

Kameron's 2nd Birthday

For Kameron's birthday "Blue" Grandma and Grandpa came to celebrate as well as Aunt Kristin.

Aunt Kristin brought some tablets that turn into sponges when put into warm water.

The boys thought they were pretty cool.

Mom brought matching pjs for the girls to wear and Kristin surprised me with my own Looming set to make hats and scarfs and whatever else.  While Brian and Dad watched the Olympics downstairs, the girls decided to watch a chic flic upstairs. 

The boys had lots of fun with Grandma and Grandpa.

Out of the blue Kenner started to put on a "Dog Show".  He stood on the chair, stomped his foot, and sang a song using woofs.  It was quite comical.  At the end he would take a bow.

Kameron, of course, had to follow his brother and do what he was doing.

Kameron LOVES balls and Elmo.  So, why not combine the two for his birthday?

He got balls, a bead maze, bristle blocks, books, elmo jammies with baseballs on them (score), and clothes all from many people that love him.

First Time With Sled

Brian and I took the boys sledding for the first time on their sled they got for Christmas.  They've never been before so this was exciting.  We went to a park that had a hill just the right size for these boys. 

Kenner was fearless.  He absolutely loved going down the hill.  He went alone, with his brother, mom, and dad.  He had so much fun.  His smile will tell you that.

 Kameron didn't know what to think of the first run down the hill.  After the first time he was very hesitant about going again, but when I or Brian were going down the hill with him, he was sure giggling.

Kenner discovered that he didn't even need the sled to go down the hill. 

We discovered a mound at the top of the hill to help you accelerate down the hill.  Brian and Kenner loved going down it so I wanted to give it a try.  Well, I couldn't even hold the sled long enough for us both to get situated.  Before we knew it the sled had taken off whether we were ready or not.  Kenner and I were laughing so hard. 

It was good day!!
