Considering that I do an awesome job of not updating the blog, I thought I would just give an update as to how the family is and hope that I can stay consistent with sharing all the fun and interesting things that our family does.
Jasmine is definitely our little angel. Not only are Brian and I smitten with her, but Kenner and Kameron absolutely adore her. The first time I heard Kameron sing the ABCs was when he was singing it to Jasmine. If you ask Kenner what her name is he will tell you it's Jasmine J.J. Tinkerbell. When he's that creative I just let it be. Not only do her brothers adore her, but she lights up every time one of them is near her. It takes me clapping and talking in a abnormally high voice to get her to smile, but the boys just need to come over to her and share a smile for her to get excited. She has learned to sit up unsupported and she currently has two teeth at 6 1/2 months. To be honest, she wasn't horriffically in pain during the teething process. She has been her cheerful self, which is again, why she is our little angel.
After she was born we had several visitors come and go. When Aunt Kristin came, she surprised us by turning Jasmine's bedroom into the cutest little girl nursery.
Jasmine was blessed on her Grandma Lund's birthday, which was perfect since she was named after her.
Kameron is getting so big. He is talking so much now and LOVES to do everything that his older brother does. He cracks us up with the things he says and the faces that he pulls. He still carries his green blankie with him. If he was allowed, it would honestly go everywhere with him, but we give it limits as to where it can go since we want it to last a little longer until he decides he doesn't need it anymore. He is still our mellow child, which is great except at night when he's supposed to be sleeping in bed he would rather sit at the top of the stairs, get into the baby wipes, or our favorite was when he decided he needed to go potty so after he went he had his diaper off and after a while of trying to put a new diaper on by himself he finally called for help. That was a fun surprise. As he is our mellow child he would do these things very quietly that we didn't even know it until we needed to go upstairs for something else.
Kameron loves the color ORANGE, ELEPHANTS, FOOTBALL, AND BASKETBALL.
Kameron's 3rd Birthday
Waking up to balloons and streamers. He, of course, grabs the orange balloon right away.
Kameron went to Build A Bear on his birthday. He chose a dog, but didn't understand why we were making him get the unstuffed one instead of the one ready to go. He seemed to catch on as we stuffed it ourselves, gave it a bath, dressed it, and named it "Best Buddy."
Kenner is now 5 years old and has done a good job taking on the role as the big brother. He will start school in the fall and when he does I have a very strong feeling that Kameron is going to really miss having him around. They are truly best friends.
Kenner had his first birthday party that he invited friends to when he turned 5 years old. His cousin Connor even came out from Colorado for it. It was a superhero theme with pin the bat wings on the target, a spiderman pinata, and they all got to decorate their own cupcake by topping it with a spiderman ring. Very cool and very boy.
A week after Jasmine was born I decided to try to teach Kenner how to ride his bike without the training wheels. That boy always amazes me with how quick he learns. He learned to ride his two-wheeler within at least 5 minutes of me assissting him.
Brian and I have survived having three children. It was a little bumpy at times, but we love it and we love them. Our kids make us so happy and I can't even begin to think of my life without them.
